Speed up your Mac
So today I upgraded my HD with an SSD it’s half the size (512GB) of what was in there originally but the speed is amazing. If you need some more speed to help with your productivity then this is it.
I have all my ‘backed up data’ on an external HD, these are file that I early use, but the System, apps and my main data files are on the SSD and I find this the best way to handle the smaller size of the SSD.
The unit I installed is a OCZ 512GB 2.5″ SATA-3 Vortex-4 SSD (Read: 535MB/s Write: 475MB/s)
